You got me. Her tag was overdue by just the days of this month, so that's
no biggy. The insurance question is hazy to me, but I was not going to
stick my oar in. I can't believe she was stupid enough to say that she'd
_intentionally_ let it lapse. She had a card, but I did not see it. From
what I could gather, it was for her other vehicle.
