Unacostomed as I am to public speaking....oops sorry, wrong text....
Seriously, a gentleman that works with my wife has a Rubber Bumper Midget
that just threw a rod threw the pan ( that makes it a 1500, no?).
He needs a good used engine or a rebuilt short block (or complete engine I
guess). He has been quoted $3000 for an engine rebuild, and $1400 for a used
engine locally. He's about to retire and is not particularly mechanical.
Can we help him?
I am going to forward the Clovis 78 Midget info...sounds like he would be
better off just buying that one. But he does have an emtional tie to the one
he has. He's had it since new and usually only drives it on sunny days (most
of them here).
