Yes, and DO NOT use that accordian hose unless you want to replace it
regularly, very regularly, monthly most likely.
Cut a piece of 1/2" heater hose a bit short of the space between the
head and w/pump. Position the hose clamps on the hose, grease up the
inside of the hose with neverseize or something similar, with a bit of
finesse you should be able to slide the new hose down low enough to
clear the head pipe then slide it up.
I do it all the time.
Start with a hunk of hose and trim it by 1/4" untill you get it to fit.
