arias was a manufacturer of racing speed equiptment. i am uncertain if the
company is still in existance. i remember seing their ad's in hot rod or
that type of mag. back in the late 60's or early 60's. they were big on
aluminum heads. aluminum rods and pistons. along the lines with carillio
and milodon. sadly i can not shed any light on the 1275 set you have other
than that they are a really well manufactured item and would not hesitate to
use them. (if they will fit !)

be certain to check the wrist pin location in relation to piston top(crown).
a lot of the after market speed parts manufacturers made normal replacement
(fit) items as well as special order (modification to rod or crank shaft or
head required for adequate clearance ) . i have run into what looked like
stock parts and later turned out to be odd special one of a kind custom
manufactured pieces for specific performance aplications wich if used would
require some creative expensive machine work.

just a warning to check items out before you attempt to instal them in a
project and get stuck with not having the stuff to finish the job. or have
the job "grenade" when it is first started?

there is little to think of when using advertised new exact replacement
parts or known used parts. but with aftermarket performance stuff? and
even worse, vintage performance stuff, buyer beware. although, you could
also find the coolest go fast item in the world because no one ever has
heard of it and will sell it cheap too! or even better........give it away
to you! go visit old racers, ask questions and ask what they have left
from their racing days! you will be suprised what is still out there hiding
waiting to be found!

chuck.
