Bob and Listers,
I realized AFTER I sent my response to Ulix that he was installing a 5 speed,
but the standard A-Series engine and tranny can certainly be installed in a
freshly painted engine bay as one unit without damage. Any doubters are
welcome to survey mine which has been in and out several times without any
damage, nadda.

Like I said it only takes patience and care.
