That subject line almost works...anyhow, I proclaim a certain degree of
victory and satisfaction, as this evening the Midget was lowered to the
ground for the first time in three months, sitting on it's new suspension,
and fresh new tires with refinished Rostyles and a set of trim rings. Man,
it looks great. The car now has a proper stance, and as my son pointed out
- looks ready to pounce, when it used to look fatigued. Kids...ya gotta
love 'em...
Budget dictated a shopping excercise for tires, and in the end I went for a
set of Toyo 'Spectrum', 155/80R/13s - look good on the car, fills the wheel
wells nicely and combined with the stance, it's a sight to behold.
This weekend, brakes to bleed, a roadtest to be had, and it's on to the
interior.....
And, I'm starting to feel a jealous vibe from the GT and roadster still
sleeping over there on the other side of the garage....
