Based upon the info given, the variable seems to be the ignition. Did you try to
jiggle the key? I know this is the first thing I would try simply because it is
the easiest. Could be a bit worn inside and a little rattle or bump is causing
intermittant and variable contacts. After trying that all bets are off.....Ask
Elizabeth for a spell for patience and relief from back strain due to the
contortions you are soon to perform.
