I couldn't have said it better!! Some people want a nice looking car but
don't mind if it's not "authentically" restored, and most people wouldn't be
able to tell the difference; but then there are those who want the
restoration to be authentic, right down to the markings on the bolts, etc,
and they would not be happy if they had a car that was perfectly restored to
concours judging standards, but with carpets instead of rubber mats on the
floors, even if they still could get a gold reward with this combination.
To each his own.
