I just had this done. There's a place near me that specializes in auto
radiators and heater cores. They recored my 1500 radiator to a three row
louvered fin core with much thicker veins for $110. About 5 pounds heavier,
too. THe three row staggered was too thick for the tanks and the room in the
engine bay. THey estimated a 25% more efficient radiator.
