H1 air filters

We're in the middle of rebuilding the 948 in our 1960 Bugeye.  Since the
original air filters look like they might be able to stop rocks, but not
much else, we're considering replacements.  Any suggestions?  There don't
seem to be many options for the 1 1/8" carbs -- there are no K&N's listed
(that I can find, anyway).
