No second gear

Hi Folks -

Got the Sprite out and running today (before it rained).  After putting in a
new accelerator cable, I noticed that the brake/clutch fluid was almost
empty.  Filled it up and bled the brakes and clutch.  All is good now except
she won't go into second gear.  1, 3, 4, and reverse work fine -- just won't
engage into second.

Any ideas?  I'll be the first to admit that I'm a novice at this...
