Thanks Frank I was leaning towards the re-bar approach. Now all I have
to find is a volunteer willing to be anywhere near me while I'm holding
a welding torch.
Did you use any kind of a seam sealer around the re-bar after welding it
in to prevent dirt being trapped and causing rust?
