Hi Richard ,
Welcome to the SPRIDGET email list. I have been on this list for aprox. 3
years . You will find the people to be generally nice folks.. I have
personally dealt with several of them off line with very favorable results.
There is a large pool of Sprite experience here. I have owned my Bugeye for
over 22 years . Many of the people on this list have had their Sprites for
much longer. Your carburetor description does not sound familiar. Do you
have a manual that shows the suspension ?
You could tell us how your car differs from stock. I suggest that you buy
Terry Horrler's book " Original Sprite & Midget"
This will help to bring you up to speed. When the guys were talking about
roll bars they meant "Anti - Roll Bars" These mount on the underside of the
car near the suspension. We sometimes have problems with definitions , i.e.
hood / bonnet , gudgeon pin / wrist pin , what the meaning of is... is.
Sometimes the group gets silly and way off topic. Stick around and you will
see for yourself . I guarantee , you will learn all about your car.
