Is this the K&N kit?  Can you use it while you are driving the car on the 
road?  Are you interested in performance tuning?

There is no reason why you couldn't use such a kit in conjunction with a 
G-Tech meter to set the fuel/air mixture to optimum performance.  Or you 
could just set the mixture to a known strength say 5% Hydrocarbons or 
whatever.

I use the rolling road and the guy sets the mixture against the 
CO/Hydrocarbons against the power figure.  Or you can see if the mixture goes 
off the scale as the rpm climb to 6,000 or whatever that the mixture goes 
rich.
