This came through my site, but I don't know anything about carb needles as
they relate to possible chunks of rust coming from the gas tank... ;-) Can
anybody help this person? Please respond to MITSUV6SPT@aol.com instead of
me. Thanks!

Adrian

HI THERE. I HOPE YOU COULD HELP ME OUT. I HAVE JUST RECENTLY TOOK OFF MY
GAS TANK OFF THE CAR TO FUSH OUT ALL THE RUSTS. I USED GAS TO TRY TO CLEAN
ALL OF THE RUST OUT. I THEN REINSTALLED THE TANK. I THEN TOOK OFF THE CARB

TO CHANGE THE JETS AND FLOAT. YES, I MADE SURE THAT THE JETS WERE CENTERED.

HOWEVER WHEN I REINSTALLED THE CARB, IT WOULD NOT IDLE. IF I WAS TO PULL
THE CHKE, THEN IT'S FINE. ANY SUGGESTION OR IDEAS OF WHAT IS CAUSING THIS
PROBLEM.
THANK YOU.
