Fred,

Honda engines turn the 'wrong' way; i.e., they rotate in the opposite 
direction as most other engines.  They are great engines, but if you 
put a honda engine in your Spridget you're gonna have 4 or 5 reverse 
gears and only 1 forward gear.  Of course, you could look at it this 
way: you'd have the world fastest spridget in reverse.
