 All,

Finally got to work on my '76 Midget 1500 yesterday. I have the new
mechanical fuel pump installed & plumbed up and a new needle & diaphragm
in the carb. I put a 44A needle in. The needle I took out is a 45Q
which the DPO was very proud of having installed. Seems he had
researched somewhere and ordered the "right" needle for it.

Does anyone have a manual that identifies this 45Q needle and it's
application? If so, is it richer or leaner than the 44A?

  TIA,

Charley,
The 45Q was the needle used in the '78/'79 Federal Spec version of the Zenith
in the Midget. I don't have the specific specs on it's differences from a 44A
here at work.
