From my experience (remember i did buy 5 one day!) breaker's prices
for serviceable used carbs and manifold with all linkage are a
mere fraction of that.
There is a lot to be said for having brand new carbs, but you
can get the same effect from used carbs and a rebuild set for
a lot less.
