        If you're not concerned over originality, AutoZone or PepBoys carry 
some very
nice quick disconnect terminal lugs for a few bucks. They use bolt-on clamps on
the wire, and a cam lock on the battery so you can not only remove or tighten
them on the battery without tools, you can easily attach accessory electric
circuits. I put them on MotorToad in the rain the day after Thanksgiving in the
parking lot where the battery gave up the ghost, so it should be doable in the
frozen tundra at your home. :)
