If you assembled the suspension with the car on jack stands, the answer to a
too high ride height is to loosen everything, then set the car on the ground
under its own weight.  Bounce up and down.  Everything has to settle with
weight on it.  Then tighten everything (rear shackle bolts, sway bar links
especially).  This often will result in a much lower height.
