Thanks Greg! Obviously, no one did the make up! Poor kids have to look
at that ALL day!

A couple of us at Greendale decided to take some students on Milwaukee's
recreation of a 19th century Great Lakes schooner, all wood, 3 masted,
137' long, & 99 gross ton. We're the first ever, so there's alot of bugs
to work out...that's why we're going.....we're the guinea pigs! I love
doing the trouble shooting.

We leave from Tampa on Superbowl Sunday, go to the Dry Tortugas for some
snorkeling, Key West to Mote Marine Research Center for some more
snorkling, spend time in the Gulf Stream, & I can't take my florid! Oh
ya, were supposed to do some scientific work along the way. 6 sampling
areas where we test physical characteristics of the water, biological
sampling of the water and the bottom. Kids do a research project,
essays, oral presentations, and live like they did on ship 100 years
ago. Me I'm looking for sunken Bugeye's that got turned into coral
reefs. Anyone in Key West?? go to: http://www.wis-schooner.org/ or
http://www.greendale.k12.wi.us/index.htm if the link isn't there go to
the high schools link. I hope they get it working.

S/V Denis Sullivan (spelling is correct) is presently dock at the Tampa
Bay Aquarium and we sail the afternoon of 28. Jan and return 7 or 8 Feb.
to same.
It's a tough job and I got tired of Ron Soave having all the fun!
Talk to in a couple of weeks!
