Yes, the hub nuts are "handed", just like wire wheel knock-offs. About the
only way to get them on/off is with a 1 7/8 " socket. It is almost
impossible with an open end wrench, slip-joint pliers, etc. because of the
studs. I have done it with a chisel and a hammer, but it chews up the nut.
Santa brought me a Craftsman socket for Christmas. I couldn't find a cheap
single socket any place else.
