Has anyone had new straps put on the original seat belt hardware? I
remember this coming up a while back and everyone was saying that it is
illegal to take belts out of a junk yard, but wasn't sure if it was legal
to have the originals repaired. The belts in my 76 are in pretty bad
shape, and I would feel better having new straps put on them. I looked at
replacing the seat belts but I like the style of the original ones. I have
called a few places and nobody around here knows who I can call about
having them repaired. Thanks for any help.
