Biff,

If you're referring to the ones one the frame, the removal problem is a
result of rust between the pin and the metal sleeve in the bushing. Try
soaking with a good penetrant first. I use a punch/drift to focus the force
on the pin. Keep the nut on the threads until the pin pops loose. Otherwise
you'll be buying new pins too. If that fails, a torch will melt the rubber
allowing the pin/sleeve to release, nasty way to go though. The fulcrum pin
at the king pins has a tapered pin and nut that must be driven out first.
the small nut is usually not visible through the dirt and grease, so you'll
need to clean up that area first.
