The annual Dixon CA all British car show is this Sunday and I've been
working feverishly to get my wife's Morris Traveller ready for it. Today I
drove it to work to test out the mechanical portion and to make sure none of
the wood bits fly off.

It runs well, steers smoothly, brakes nicely. Since its new color can best
be described as "very orange", it got a lot of looks. I've still got to
mount one rear door and pray that the window channel arrives in time to put
in the right side windows. Best guess is that it will be at Dixon as a
"work in progress".

To MGVADICK from the spridget list who put me onto the car, to Paul A. who
has been very helpful as always, to Dana C. who assisted with parts and
advice, Mini Mania and The Minor Centre of Bath for wood and rubber bits,
and to the Morris list as well, Thank You all!

My wife has driven it three times now, and the bonding process seems to be
going well. She suggests "little" things that would make it more pleasing
to her, and I try to provide. By the end of summer she'll either be a happy
Morris owner, or I will.

Regards,
Glen Byrns
