hidden stamped number

While I was trying to clear up the incredible amount of engine oil
sprayed through a small fracture on the flexible oil pressure gauge hose
with red diesel, I discovered a 5-digit number stamped just behind the
topmost wiring harness clip, at the rear right of the right footwell
panel, top side. This is under the rear end of the front right wing,
about 15cm to the right of the fusebox.

What is the meaning of this number? It can't have been made by any
previous user because it's extremely awkward to use a punching set in
such a confined space and, besides, it's a nice straight line of
numerals. This number is not listed on my BMIHT certificate.

By the way, except for the usual location of the chassis number, on a
riveted plate below the air filters, on the left inner wing, do you know
if it can be found stamped elsewhere on the vehicle?

Cheers
