Thanks, that's what I wanted to know.  I was thinking of a second water temp
guage.  I always thought that knowing the temperature at the rad isn't as
useful as knowing the temperature in the engine.

If you want to seal off the rad hole, there must be something that you can
screw in.  When you have the adapter in your hand, you can go to a hardware
store and get something that fits?
