Fellow Spridgeteers,

While I've never been stressed by my fuel gauges' inaccuracy (I carry a
35 gallon drum in the boot), I'd like to offer an old, tried & true
method of measurement.

For nearly 30 years I've been using a 1/8 x 36" wooden dowel to check
the gas in my '56 Chevy PU. Very accurate, easy to replace when it
breaks and most of all... and this is the biggie... cheap (Frank would
be proud of me).

If you're of a mind, you can even mark 1/4, 1/2 .... on the "instrument"
for peace of mind.

Good luck with the installation....

WFO Herb
Keep the sticky side down!
