FOR SALE:
1980 TR8, FI, Gold, 45,500 on the clock with a 130mph+ speedo. New Pirelli
P4000 HR rated tires and a new top. Interior is in very good condition, no
body rust or dings -- never been in an accident and it has always been
stored inside with a three ply cover over it, in fact it was stored inside
for the last ten plus years and never run. Which is why the engine has
just been overhauled (and I mean overhauled -- everything replaced) by a
professional mechanic -- all new parts including pistons from Ted
Schumacher -- compression is now almost 9 to 1 ... and it still burns
regular fuel. The 5 speed was also gone through and parts replaced as was
indicated. Emissions reads: CO 0.62 HC 23 CO2 13.5 O2 0.7 LMBD
1.01 Selling because of age (mine, mid 70's) and no longer interested
in going that fast. Price: $7950 -- before the snow comes.
