Greetings all. Like the subject says I am looking for another body. My
current project, 1962 Austin Healey Sprite MK II, is so severely rust damaged
that I am about to give up. I looked underneath the rear and the spring boxs
are gone I guess. All I seen was the busted up springs and the metal plate
that bolts under it. Alot of metal is gone as well. I figure I will be
further ahead to find another body in better condition and start over. I am
looking for either another Austin Healey Sprite (any year) or a steel bumper
MG Midget. I would prefer a rust free body. It doesn't have to have a engine
or gearbox but interior would be nice. I don't have alot of money to spend at
this moment so I must find one that is inexpensive. I am in the Janesville,
Wisconsin area and I can't travel far to pick up but perhaps a shipping
company would be a option if the rates are good. If someone can help me out
here you will forever have my gratitude. It kills me to think about scapping
my Sprite but I just don't have the knowledge to fix it and I have no time
for vo-techs as I am supporting a family. I just want to get back to driving
a british car. Thanks.
