blue smoke?

ok so ya did the compression test but did you read the plugs?  are they
indicating any specific cylinder that may be running richer( oil
consumption) than the rest?   what is the cold / hot oil pressure on the
gauge?   either suspect oil passage in head gasket leaking into a cylinder
or those cast one piece oil rings with springs, or sucking oil down the
guides!  easy to detect the guide problem!  pull the intake and have a look
in the ports!  oily and slimey...  then there isan answer.  also have a look
in the exhaust ports too!  i never have been a fan of those cast one piece
oil controll rings.  (it's a personal thing)    an oil ring wil not be
detected untill a total tear down and it has been removed from the piston
and end gap checked in the bore.   but!  if that is where you must end up so
be it!
