I was so absolutely disgusted this evening with the amount of people
waiting in long lines at gas stations. 2 sides to the issue...apparently
gas stations already bumping the price to make a quick buck before victims
of todays tragedies are even found, let alone rescued or buried. And the
people waiting in line... so concerned about getting one more tankful at
the old prices. Ugghhh.
I tried to relate the absolute horror taking place tonight. Countless
people dead or dying, trapped, alone, in total darkness. Last year, when I
rolled my Sprite... hanging upside down in the dark confined of a Sprite
for 30 seconds was more terrifying than I could take, and luckily I was
able to crawl out before help arrived. My experience was nothing compared
to what these thousands of innocent people are going through.
I knew someone on one of the planes out of Boston that hit the tower.
I cried today for humanity, for those lost and those who've lost them.
