Well, thanks to Biff Jones I know I have an axle out of a 1500 Midget. More
specifically, thanks to Horler I know I have one out of a car sometime after
number 182001. From what I can gather it sounds like Moss has most (all) the
parts I need, so I've sent off an order to one of the distributors.
But I'm still not sure what this setup looks like. So if one someone with a
1500 of the appropriate number (>= 182001) could take a pic or two of the
handbrake stuff and how it all attaches at the rear axle I would REALLY
appreciate it!
Also, Horler mentions that the cable is held to the bottom of the axle
housing with a "P clip" - this apparently in addition to the main mount point
to keep the cable from sagging. I know about "E clips" and "circlips" but
what's a "P clip"? I assume that isn't "Paper clip" - yuk yuk yuk! ;-)
