Thanks to all for the responses on stereo speakers. I
was able to find at Radio Shack a set of tweeters that
are all of 1 1/2" in diameter and perhaps 3/4"thick.
Small enough and light enough to even mount with
double faced tape. Tweeters can handle up to 50 watts,
more than the stereo puts out, load the front channels
and complimentthe 6 x 9" speakers I mounted in the
back deck. Now I get the hi freq back by placing
tweeters up front and close to me. I give a full
report once I get it done.
