Hi Guys,
Much appreciated the various suggestions for rescuing our old computer
that had all my photos and addresses stored in it. It did turn out to be
the power supply, and our friend in town came out and came up with the
same diagnosis. He had a spare at home, so we didn't even need to go
clear up to Eugene to buy a new one. When he got the old one up and
running, he transferred everything on it to this machine. I don't know
how to access anything, but at least they are in here somewhere. Thanks
again for all the advice.
