Recall that pre-'68 1275's probably produce a few more horsepower than
than emission controlled engines but
torque is the same.
Upgrade from 948 or 1098 is in the torque
produced for stock street applications, making the stock 1275 more
"useable"
in this particular respect, though arguably
"marginally" so. Depends on your point
of view, I guess?
