Weekend problem #1 !
Little Blue was going really well before.... (well, don't they
always?)
Indicators F & R and stop lights have all packed up. Everything else
works fine. (horn, heater, main lights etc)
The white wire from the octapus to the coil has obviously "cooked" and
released some smoke. Coil itself was hot last night after coming
come, but engine still running fine, so this may be irrelevant.
Car is a '71 Sprite with a 4-way fuse box. Fuses all OK, but meter
shows no voltage at fuses 1 & 2 ( ignition on) which supply the non-
working items.
So where do I look next? Is the coil wire related to the indicator
circuit in some way?

( Cap'n Bob, I hold you responsible, but cannot work out how you did
this. Anyway I think it is a despicable trick. Verbal jousting is
one thing but sabatage of a Sprite is definately off limits!!)
