Hello Larry,

Good luck on the new springs. In my car I had a replacement spring on
one side. The thing made the car sit several inches lower on that side and when
I cornered the spring would depress the the car would sit on the bump
stop. When I removed the spring it had no cracked leaves.

I replaced that spring with another spring off a rubber bumper car and
it still sits low. I am thinking of having two of the old springs
re-arched at a spring shop.

How do you tell how a spring is going to perform when you put it on a
car? If I have several springs to choose from how do I tell which
will work the best?

I have the same problem with the replacement rubber pads. Sometimes
it is nice to be able to change lanes with just the accelerator. When
you switch let us know how they work.
