Or make your own. I bought Heim joint rod ends and threaded rod from 
McMaster-Carr.com and made my own shift linkage for my FWD Shelby Turbo 
car. It works much better than original plastic joints and has held up 
at the drags. I would think the existing brake rods could be cut and 
threaded by hand with a die to accept the rod ends. They would then be 
adjustable. If you have a Go Kart shop near, they use the rods for 
steering and such and could make what you need.
