My 1275 has started running on, backfiring through the carb, has major de=

spot when you step on it from a stop, & seems to be blowing out black smo=
ke
(rich) when you push it hard on the highway.=0D
Can anyone give me a place to start??=0D
I have a 1275 with ignitor ignition, & a weber/sk carb. (the carb is jett=
ed
quite lean). Tried the WD40 trick around the intake but there appears to=
be
no leaks there.=0D
I think it may be timing but I don't want to mess with it until I get an
educated opinion from the list gurus :)=0D
