I had been looking for one for a while, and never could find a good one. I
found a company in CT that has the Ford 5-Speed kit, but I was looking to go
with a lister first. The Ford tranny is also the same used in some turbo
T-Birds so availabilty should not be too much of an issue. It is also pretty
bulletproof.

At Carlisle last month there were about 5 Merkurs, 3 had manuals. I asked
one of the guys about a tranny. He said "Yes I have one". When I asked about
buying it, he said, "Oh I traded it"
