Actually-

I wouldn't want to spoil the lines of my
Bugeye either but, the car came with
a welded in roll bar (PO did it "right"),
anyway.

So, cut down a "windblocker" made for
a Spridget and "tastefully" tie-wrapped
to the rear of the rollbar to keep water
(off the top of the trunk) from coming
forward into the low pressure area of the
cockpit while driving in light to moderate
rain (keeps water from being blown into
the cockpit from the top of the trunk to
be deposited on the inside of the wind-
shield - also keeps same water off of
back of neck!!).

This works!! Of course, it the rain gets
heavy enough (and/or the speed high enough), this "moderating system"
can
be overcome.

But for driving around in moderate rain at
moderate speeds (below 55-60) the
"windblocker" makes a great "rainblocker"
in the aforementioned respects.

Cost of "Windblocker" (Lexan and alum.
lower frame into which lexan is bolted) -
$110. Cutting costs (by pro shop) to "fit"
shape of rollbar - $15.
Self-installed in one hour and two beers!
