The sunlight heating technique works. But did you ever notice that when
you do finally give up and decide to put the top up (or drown), it's so
damn cold that it won't even unfold, let alone stretch out to fit the
snaps. And your fingertips feel like their going to fall off from tugging
on the edges. And if you pull the material far enough, the snap seems to
have moved off to one side. And you left the side curtains home, anyway.
