hi all...

i am preparing my '66 mkIII sprite, (1098), for the AHSTC "ENCOUNTER" next
week in forrestal village, nj..........it has not been run/driven for about 2
yrs....i have changed the master cylinder, and the clutch slave
cylinder....both are new (lockheed)....no visible leaks in the wheel
cylinders, or any visible brake lines.......i have bled both systems several
times, (with a one man unit, and also the old two man way)but get no
appreciable "pedal"......and to make things more confusing, if i hold the
brake pedal down, it SLOWLY goes all the way to the floor....i have looked
for leaks, but find none.....any ideas as to the solution??? the clutch slave
cylinder moves but just barelye.....

i hope the "new" master cylinder is not the problem...it came from wisconsin,
and would be hard to replace at this late date....
