RE: Which exhaust system in a Bugeye with 1275?

There is one other difference between small bore (948cc) headers and large
bore (1275cc) headers. The 1275 block is 3/8" taller than the 948. The large
bore header will fit the 948 but drop down under the car an extra 3/8".
Conversely, trying to fit a small bore header to a 1275 will result in the
collector riding against the chassis and ultimately a cracked header from
the stress.
