Bill,

I have NEVER had any luck with Mity Vac or other one-man brake bleeders
on my cars.  I finally came to the conclusion (and I'm sure someone will
correct me if I am wrong) that the brake bleed screws on British cars are
either TAPERED or just an extremely poor fit.  My theory is that the air
leaks around the bleed screw so you are just sucking the air around it.

I think the only way to do it is with someone pumping the pedal.  I even
took the drastic step of getting married to have someone to help bleed
brakes.  She turned out useless for that, even, so I divorced her.
