Before I ebay this, thought I'd offer it to the list.
I bought this Spit two years ago thinking it would be a
nice easy project. I thought, Paint, Interior, get the engine running, a few
misc. things
and it'd be done in two months. Well, two years later, other than strip out
the interior,
I've done little else, and this is how it will remain for
the forseable future, So .... the list gets first crack at it.
'76 Spitfire (Project) IN CLEVELAND OHIO
Car is white, was originally Blue
Tan Interior (fair) out of car
Usual rust, very fixable (not bad floors)
Good glass
Good rubber
Good brakes (I believe)
Battery box rusted out.
Car is straight, and I don't think there is any bondo in it.
Drivetrain is in car. I don't believe it's ever been out.
When I bought the car the engine didn't run due to a wiring problem,
Still has a wiring problem (good compression though)
