| The 1098 clamp I have consists of the two semi circular pieces and two bolts. I 
have not had an issue with odor from under the bonnet. But in all honesty, I 
drive
with the hood removed, so no odor would be able to accumulate in the cockpit 
area regardless. When tightening the clamps, I would wiggle the down pipe to 
make sure
it was staying centered on the manifold.
