beep, beep was a Nash Rambler, not a Metropolitan.  Gotta do something about 
you, Bob.  Wasn't the Metropolitan pretty much an Austin A-40 engine, etc.  
Seems that regardless of what tag was put on it, you should be safe using 
engine oil in an Austin/MG/Morris transmission of that era.  The Sprite 
manual also calls it out.
