My favorite memory of the Datsun 1600 'Fairlady' roadsters was beating
2-out-of-3 of 'em at an autocross with my E-stock Pinto. They hadn't even
realized I was running in their class. :-) :-) :-) (Pintos moved to H-stock
the next year. :-( )
The Datsun 2000 roadster (ohc; 1600 was pushrod) had an -optional- cam and
dual Mikuni side-draft carb setup that gave 144hp!
The 1600 used a 4-spd trans; the 2000 had a 5-spd.
